Farm Fresh Tuesdays Blog Hop #23
Today was all about baking- after binge-watching several seasons of the British Baking Show, Wendie and I have found we have a knack for all things yeasty and tasty. As such, we have reclaimed about $10 from our weekly grocery budget by starting to bake our own sandwich bread. There's nothing tricky to it, and the kids seem to love it.
In other news, we're hunkering down for winter eventually, with several projects on our radar to help everything run smoothly. That means winterizing the bees and the chickens and the guinea fowl, finishing up cleaning the garden beds and keeping a close eye on our firewood usage.
Its a lovely time of year, and we're glad to be sharing it with you!
Cheers!
