Farm Fresh Tuesdays Blog Hop #22
We have reached that point of the year where the summer veggies in the garden are being cleaned up, the sunflowers are being whacked down, and the remaining squashes and Brussel sprouts and parsnips and being paid more attention to.
Once the garden is cleared, our plan is to release the chickens into it to let them scratch, pick and nibble anything left behind. Then, it's garlic planting time.
Outside of the garden our guinea hens have started laying, with little 'happy' being found every so often in the nesting boxes of our old, repurposed chicken coop. So far, so good.
The firewood is stacked for the winter, and little builds for the bees are taking place when I have some time. Vivaldi boards were done today, and if I am able, a post will show up soon showing how to do them.
Cheers!
