Farm Fresh Tuesdays Blog Hop #21
My father once told me that I should do what makes me happy. Of course, that was twenty years ago when happiness seemed to come second to paying the mortgage and getting to work on time to make money for someone else. Down the road a bit, the kids were born and our life's focus was placed on raising them right. It would take a further ten years to realize that the two were intimately connected.
We bought our dream homestead, became self-employed and put our energies into what makes us happy- family and the experiences of self-sufficient life. Our lives became less cluttered with 'stuff' and enriched by the love and minimalist attitudes of homesteading.
Today, Wendie and I join the amazing crew of Farm Fresh Tuesdays as new co-hosts. We have discovered that though we haven't met face-to-face, these fellow homesteading writers are our kindred souls and our friends. We are proud to join their ranks.
Meet our amazing hosts and see what they’ve been up to this week!
AnneMarie from 15 Acre Homestead
Lisa from The Self Sufficient HomeAcre
