FAMILY HOMESTEADING AND OFF THE GRID BLOG HOP #32
Our squash plants are shriveling as they tend to do when colder weather arrives, and the thinking leaves are uncovering a good amount of acorn squash and pumpkins. The watermelons have finally reached a stage where we can harvest, and the next few days will see the kids knocking on our neighbors' doors with our excess.
The tomatoes are still coming in strong, with another harvest planned for today or tomorrow, with a saucing session soon to follow. In other news, Wendie will be writing up a series of homestead recipes with the idea that these will be complied in an e-book eventually as an offering for our readers. Lots going on, and more to come!
Cheers!

!!!Featured Post from Last Week!!!
Our featured blog post from last week is from Lisa Lynn over at the Self Sufficient HomeAcre with her post on creating a redneck coldframe. There are a few plants we think would benefit from this construct around the homestead and we appreciate the walk-through:) Congrats!
