FAMILY HOMESTEADING AND OFF THE GRID BLOG HOP #30
The tomatoes. My God, the tomatoes! Everything is ripening now, from the heirlooms to the beefsteaks to the Romas, and the more we pick, the more energy goes to the greenies and they ripen almost overnight. We're making sauce like there's no tomorrow:)
We harvested the last of the onions the other day, and though we didn't grow oregano this year, everything else in the sauce is from our own garden. The peppers, the garlic and the love. Well worth the energy we put into it all- with lessons learned and plans to add trellises next season.
Cheers!
