Welcome to week 17 of the Family Homesteading and Off the Grid Blog Hop! Last week we installed our second hive of bees, this time, Carniolans, with their Queen Xena.We recognized they are a little more aggressive than Queen Jade's Italians as soon as I was stung for doing nothing but admiring them from a distance. Ouch. But, a lesson learned is worth it. You can read about it in the post we chose to share this week:)
